Friday morning we got together with our AWESOME playgroup friends and threw a little birthday/Valentine's Day bash for Aidan and two of the other kiddos with birthdays close to his. The kids had tons of fun as usual, and everyone had plenty of food and fellowship.

Saturday we celebrated another birthday for our good friend and Aidan's God-mother, Libby! Layman and Libby live in Hiawatha, KS now and we miss them terribly.

Sunday Aidan got lavished with love at church. his friends Audrey and Emily even gave him special Valentine's treats. :)
Sunday night was the Hillcrest Valentine's Day Party and Aidan even got his name on the cake! Thanks Kim!! :)

So at two years old, our little man:
LOVES trains
Is a jabber box - talking all the time!
Knows 9 or 10 colors and loves to name them.
Can count to 10 mostly in order as long as he skips number 7. :)
Recognizes 3/4 of the alphabet at least!
Loves being read to and telling you what will happen next.
Still nurses to sleep most naps and bedtimes.
Brushes his own teeth.
Loves to help in the kitchen or with household chores.
Can't get enough of the snow we've been having!
Cries when we have to leave his friends and would forget all about food, sleep, and mommy and daddy if he could play with friends forever. :)
Is a great dancer. :)
Is just now starting to enjoy singing along with familiar songs. His favorites at the moment are "I Like to Eat Apples and Bananas," and "I Have the Joy Joy Joy Joy Down in my Heart (where??)"

According to his 2 year check-up, he is 36 inches tall and weighs 31 lbs.
