Wonderful News

Praise God with us again!!

The ultrasound showed a very healthy and active baby with no abnormalities. There don't seem to be any abnormalities with the structure of my uterus or the baby's placenta either. Baby is growing at the normal rate and the heart looks fabulous. Pretty much everything is wonderful. :)

The technician said that sometimes a placenta can come away from the wall just enough to cause some bleeding and cramping and then heal on its own. She said my cervix looks good so the cramps weren't anything weird like the threatening of a pre-term labor.

The scans will be sent off to radiology just to be sure, but as of now everything looks good. We're going to try to wait a good... oh... forever before having to go to the doctor again. ;) It's been crazy.
