On "Vacation"

We've been in Wichita now for 2 days but haven't gotten to see many people. Unfortunately, the kids came down with something just as we were preparing to leave town. We hoped that it was just Cora teething, but turns out it's the same thing that they had 2 weeks ago. :(

Cora has had a mid-grade fever (100-103) since Friday night and Aidan has a stuffy nose and cough. Rob and I are fine so far, but with this kids sleeping so poorly, we don't expect to escape it. We're so very thankful for family and friends here who are willing to let us be sick and still visit. We've been mostly hanging out in our friend's basement watching movies on demand.

We got to visit my mom and sister Catlin yesterday and mom took these pictures with her cell phone:

 
We're holding out hope that the kids will get better with enough time for us to see a few friends before we head back to Kansas City on Thursday. It's good seeing family and getting to rest if nothing else. Oh, and I got my coin collection from my moms house! Nerdy fun for all! ;)

On Edit: I forgot to mention that Cora is 6 months old today!!! Wow!
